This summer’s excavation at The Cairns will be open to the public, with a special open day scheduled for Friday, July 1.

Excavation resumes at the Iron Age site in South Ronaldsay on June 13, and runs until July 8. Over that period visitors are welcome between 10am and 4pm on weekdays.
