Take a step back into the past with our ten-week introductory course

We’re now accepting applications for our Archaeology and Local Studies course, which begins in January 2023.

The ten-week course equips you with the knowledge and resources you need to undertake your own archaeological research.

It’s open to anyone, anywhere in the world, and aimed at those interested in learning a bit more about the archaeology of their area, and archaeology generally.

Teaching will focus on the archaeology and history of areas in northern Scotland, using local tutors for support where necessary, and delivered via video-conferencing or in person at Cnoc Soilleir, Daliburgh, South Uist.

Lectures will take place every Monday afternoon (3-5pm GMT) from January 23, 2023. Cost: £215
