Neolithic Carved Stone Balls in context: A new find from Sheriffmuir

Dr Hugo Anderson-Whymark, curator of prehistory (Palaeolithic to Neolithic) at the National Museums of Scotland and visiting reader at the University of the Highlands and Islands Archaeology Institute, is joined by Mark Hall, history officer at Perth Museum and Art Gallery, to outline what we know about carved stone balls – focusing on the Sheriffmuir ball, found in 2017.

The talk was delivered yesterday, Sunday, November 8, as part of the Tayside and Fife Archaeology Committee‘s 2020 conference.
