Dr Antonia Thomas will be one of the speakers at a conference in Orkney this week dedicated to exploring the future of Scotland’s islands.
The two-day Royal Society of Edinburgh event, at the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall, is free and will look at themes ranging from sustainable economies, archaeological pursuits and youth outmigration, to marine biology and environmental stewardship.
Antonia’s talk, Creative archaeology in the digital university, takes place on Friday afternoon.
