There’s less than a fortnight left to vote in the 2025 Current Archaeology Awards.

Stone Circles: A Field Guide, a collaboration between the UHI Archaeology Institute’s Professor Colin Richards and Cardiff University’s Professor Vicki Cummings, is in the running for the Book of the Year title.

With nominations based on books reviewed in Current Archaeology magazine last year, voting at www.archaeology.co.uk/vote closes on February 10. So, if you’ve read the book and enjoyed it, your vote would be very much appreciated.

The UHI Archaeology Institute’s Landscapes Revealed: geophysical survey in the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Area, 2002-2011 was named Book of the Year in 2023.

The award winners will be announced at the Current Archaeology Live! 2025 conference, at University College London’s Institute of Education, on March 1.
