Australian conference session on graffiti co-convened by institute lecturer

Dr Antonia Thomas had a very early start yesterday when she co-convened a session at the World Archaeological Congress in Darwin, Australia.

For Love and Loathing: Innovation in Archaeological and Heritage Approaches to Graffiti Antonia was joined by Ursula Frederick of the University of Canberra. As part of the session Antonia delivered a paper on the graffiti in the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site.

Diane Eagles, graduate of the MA Contemporary Art and Archaeology, also spoke about her work with chalk graffiti as part of her time as an artist in residence at the Ness of Brodgar.
