Professor Ingrid Mainland of the University of the Highlands and Islands Archaeology Institute will deliver her inaugural professorial lecture online at 4pm today, Thursday.
Of trough and trencher: exploring food, fodder and feasting in the past and present will look at how the archaeology of food and fodder can be used to understand the role of food in the past and its impact on farming economies and environments from prehistory through to the early modern period.
