Students back at the Howe of Hoxa for practical survey module

A group of postgraduate students were at the Howe of Hoxa, South Ronaldsay, last week as part of their archaeological and geophysical survey module.

A group of postgraduate students were at the Howe of Hoxa, South Ronaldsay, last week as part of their archaeological and geophysical survey module.

Accompanied by lecturer Dr James Moore and ORCA’s Chris Gee, they carried out resistivity surveys on the sides of the broch mound and plane table surveys of the surrounding area.
