Professor Jane Downes, the director of the UHI Archaeology Institute, will deliver a free talk in the Stromness Golf Club, Orkney, next Friday evening.
The talk, hosted by the Stromness Museum, is entitled Archaeology and Climate Change: Orkney and other island stories, and begins at 7.30pm on Friday, July 29.
Admission is free.
