Dates set for industrial heritage project launches in Papay and Rousay

Dates have been set for the next two launch events for ORCA‘s new project looking at industrial heritage in Orkney's North Isles.

Dates have been set for the next two launch events for ORCA‘s new project looking at industrial heritage in Orkney’s North Isles.

Dan Lee and Sean Bell will be in Papa Westray on February 27-28, with a free introductory talk on the project at Beltane House on Tuesday, February 27, at 7.30pm.

The following day they will host a drop-in event at the Kelp Store from 11am-12.30pm, before visiting industrial heritage sites on the island from 1-3pm.

On Saturday, March 2, they will be in Rousay, with the talk taking place at 2pm in the community room and the drop-in event also running from 1-4.30pm.

All events are free and open to all.
