In Eday, we are planning to record a number of sites, including Furness quarry and buildings, Redcastle farmstead, the peat railway by the lighthouse, the old pier.

The plan is to start at the quarry, so anyone interested in helping – photo survey, mapping with GPS, plan of the buildings – can meet Dan and Sean there from 10am on September 2.

On Tuesday, September 3, they plan to start at Redcastle, so meet there from 9am onwards.
