
An article on the Orkney witchcraft trials by Dr Ragnhild Ljosland features in a new book due out next March.
Entitled Giving Voice to the Victims of the Orkney Witchcraft Trials: ‘Answered, She Spoke it for Weakness of Her Owne Flesh, and for Feare of Her Lyfe’, Raggie’s chapter will appear in Hospitable Linguistics: Alternative, Indigenous and Critical Approaches to Language Research and Language Encounters.
Published by Multilingual Matters/Channel View Publications Ltd, the book will be launched on March 11, 2025, with pre-orders available at their website.
