The recording of Jenny Murray’s Orkney Archaeology Society (OAS) talk, A Saint in Stone, is now available online.

Jenny is a UHI Archaeology Institute PhD student and a curator at the Shetland Museum and Archives. Her research is focused on Magnus Erlendsson – Saint Magnus – and the physical traces of his cult in the North Atlantic.

It was at this talk that Jenny revealed the OAS-funded radiocarbon date secured for the wooden reliquary found in St Magnus Cathedral in 1919.
