The Tales o Hoy podcast series is featured in The Times newspaper’s 22 best things to do In Orkney article.
The podcasts were produced by Hoy Heritage Centre, taking listeners on an entertaining journey through a landscape of stories, together with an interactive Google Earth map created by ORCA’s Dan Lee.
Each of the five episodes take in different areas of Hoy and feature landmarks, local lore, archaeology, and flora and fauna. The interactive map allows virtual visitors to travel around the parish with links to dedicated webpages that explore some of the stories in more detail and offer an archive of images.
