Dr Antonia Thomas will be giving two guest lectures during a brief visit to Norway this week.

Antonia is in Oslo as an external assessor for Miriam Sentler’s ongoing PhD. Miriam was based at the UHI Archaeology Institute earlier this year as part of the 2025 SGSAH EARTH Scholarships programme.

Antonia’s lectures, on Friday, will be for the Oslo Centre for Environmental Humanities (Working across disciplines — Creative practice and research in the humanities) and also the Institute of Archaeology (Art and Archaeology: Messy Research for Undisciplined Times).

Antonia is the programme leader for our Contemporary Art and Archaeology masters programme.
