Our next UHI Archaeology Research Seminar takes place this Friday, April 24, and features Hana Bristow ACR (HB Conservation).
Her talk, Archaeological Conservation – What’s It All About?, will introduce archaeological conservation and the conceptual, ethical, and practical issues involved in caring for archaeological material. Drawing on examples from Orkney and beyond, Hana Bristow ACR will explore the professional judgement, ethical considerations and interdisciplinary collaboration that underpin this rewarding and uniquely challenging work, as well as examining what it means to preserve our archaeological heritage for future study and public engagement.
The seminar can be joined online (via Teams) and in person at the UHI Orkney lecture room.
