This autumn, the TRANSECTS project is inviting people in Hull and the wider Humber community to share memories and experiences of living alongside the region’s changing marine energy industries – from whaling and whale oil (1800s-1900s), to oil and gas (1960s-now) and now renewable energy (2000s-present).
Join local artist Lauren Saunders for a series of free, creative Storylines workshops, with lunch provided. We’d love to hear about changes you’ve seen in your community, jobs and ways of life, what has been lost or gained, and your hopes and concerns for the future.
