Archaeologists will be back at the Ness of Brodgar between Monday, July 3, 2023 until Friday, August 19, 2023.

The Neolithic excavation site will be open to the public on weekdays between Wednesday, July 5 and Wednesday, August 17, with guided tours on weekdays at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.

2023 marks the 20th anniversary of the discovery of the first building on site, Structure One.

The project, run by the Ness of Brodgar Trust in association with the UHI Archaeology Institute, has since revealed a cluster of monumental structures, dating from around 3300BC-2400BC, in the Heart of Neolithic Orkney World Heritage Site.
