Easter fieldtrip 2023 – day three

The third, and final, day of our fieldtrip saw us depart Helmsdale early in the morning and head south.

On Sunday, the third and final day of our fieldtrip, we departed Helmsdale early in the morning and headed south.

The first stop was Dornoch for a visit to the 13th century cathedral before the students had some time to explore the beautiful little town. From there it was back on the buses bound for Easter Ross and the Tarbat Discovery Centre in Portmahomack.

The trip came to an end at 2.30pm, with Ben heading south to take students back to Inverness and Sigurd northward-bound again with the Orkney contingent.
