Marine renewables in Orkney is the subject of the next TRANSECTS storylines session in Stromness at the weekend.
Orkney has become a world leader in marine renewable energy over the last few decades and the industry is embedded into the community.
Renewables support the islands economically and have become a part of Orkney’s identity. From early innovation and testing to living and working, it is important to capture the human stories of this journey and explore how they impact coastal communities.
Join the TRANSECTS team at the Robert Rendall Building, ORIC, Stromness (the old primary school), on Saturday, November 29, from 11am-1pm or 2-4pm.
