New Carnegie grant aimed at Scottish masters students

The Carnegie Education Fund has launched a new postgraduate grant scheme to help students from low-income Scottish households undertake master’s programmes at Scottish universities.

The Carnegie Education Fund has launched a new postgraduate grant scheme to help students from low-income Scottish households undertake master’s programmes at Scottish universities.

The Carnegie Masters Grant helps to cover the cost of tuition fees and, in some cases, will offer additional support for study costs. The scheme will open to applications on May 1,  2026. Further information, including eligibility criteria and how to apply, are set out in the Applicant Guide for 2026/27.
