UHI Archaeology Institute postgraduate student Annie Anderson is giving a talk on Iron Age souterrains at the Scottish Crannog Centre on Friday, May 1, at 3pm.
The enigmatic underground structures in Tayside are the subject of Annie’s MLitt dissertation and she was invited by the centre after presenting some of her research at February’s Scottish Student Archaeology Society conference (SSACC) conference in Aberdeen.
Find out more about souterrains in this post by The Cairns dig director Martin Carruthers.
