We’ve added a bumper batch of scanned photographs this week, showing the Blackhammer stalled cairn in Rousay before and after excavation.
The cairn was excavated by William Grant and James Callander in 1936 , with photographs taken by the Edinburgh surveyor and draughtsman David Wilson.
